I have received a T43 2669 that was working perfectly until some hot tempered teen slammed it onto a desk while it was running.
Now it wont boot.
At boot it stalls when initializing mouse.
If selecting F1 to enter bios it stalls.
I have tried to remove HD & ram to see if the machine returns any error codes but nothing happens, no error messages, no beep, nothing.
I was wondering if the CMOS battery may have come loose?
Any suggestion?

T43 2669 wont boot
Re: T43 2669 wont boot
Make that teen fix it then. If one of my kids did that to one of my Thinkpads, they'd be rebuilding it from scratch using their own money for parts...wouldn't matter to me how long it took or how much they complained. Check the internal keyboard connector and reseat it.Arning wrote:...some hot tempered teen slammed it onto a desk while it was running.
