Hi all, i have one or the beautifull butterfly. Change bios battery, repair desolderered RAM. All Work fine. But one day, i think to upgrade my hdd. I have original 540mb. I try différent hdd 40gb, 2.1gb, 800mb.
Now, no hdd was reconised. I have try to format fat16. Instal dos 6.22 on other pc. But nothing go well. After post the hdd stop and bios dont reconize him.

I must tell you sorry for Bad language. :help:

I dont have floppy Drive.
I have try with another morherboard. I think perhaps it s bios Bad.
But same error 540mb Work fine on another pc.

Thanks in advance for all help you can give me.

re. HDD, there is a limit to the HDD size the bios will see.. i forgot what it is but it is over 840MB..
pretty sure, but not certain, i have a floppy and plug for the 701..
