X1 Carbon Gen 9 - crackling problem

With Dolby Audio turned on and at maximum volume, occasional crackling is heard from the speakers.

It doesn't happen with every audio playback of content, but when it does it's really annoying.

Does anyone have such an experience?

Already I tried to update the drivers as well as change the operating system.

I've never used the maximum volume. I tend to care for my ears...
