off the wall topic -- Looney Tunes
Ok....long story behind it, but does anyone have any/all of the looney tunes collections? It's kind of a joke between me and a couple of co-workers, but I'm looking for a certain episode involving Wile E Coyote and the Road Runner. I don't remember Wile E Coyote ever talking, but one of the guys swe...

Cordless Landline Phone Suggestions?
Any suggestions for a cordless phone I can get my parents? They need one w/ 2-3 handsets and an answering machine. Several months ago, (8-10?) I bought them one w/ two handsets, but it seemed like there was always static on the line. I think I noticed one time when I was there that they got a new on...

I assume I will just have to eat the difference...but thought I would ask you guys a stupid question anyways... I ordered a new T61 on the 16th. I built my computer online, and added it to my cart. I applied the coupon...knocked nearly 200 dollars off the price, and placed the order. All I get was t...

Ditto
I'll basically copy what he said too...what do you need to do to it? I bought a G40 back in Late 2003/early 2004, with a P4-3Ghz processor in it...which is still a great processor...lol. I upped the HD, and put a gig of memory in it. It had wifi built in, and a cd-burner/dvd reader, so I haven't had...

backlight
:D I had somethink like this happen w/ my G40....see if it works for you, too. It seemed like when I would pack it up at college and take it home with me, when I started it up the next time, the screen would be dark. The first time this happened to me, I had just reset my computer, and thought it wa...

umm...which ones can you 'alter'?
I tried my luck w/ this...not as lucky as you guys...the connector on the back of the u2k cdrw/dvd drive I bought isn't the same as the one on the back of my 600x cdrom...too small... looks the same from the front, but no matching up behind... which ones can/can't be 'converted' to work w/ a vintage...

Hi, folks...I'm trying to breathe life back into a 600 laptop that I picked up fairly cheap...I swapped out the mobo, for a 600X-650mhz Things I'm needing/wanting to buy: CDRW (preferred)/combo/DVDRW (dreaming) for the 600 series PC100 RAM (2x256) -- ebay -- Hard Drive (60 Gig+) -- got it! -- maybe ...
