Access Connections 4.23 Build 79CN76WW
When I first started reading this post I have to admit I checked my version straightaway and sure enough I have the version mentioned. But I am having no problems at all with finding wireless networks. I am using the Atheros card and even though I normally have had great results with the newer Intel...

Just keep calling and eventually they may send it for free. I really think this is a bad policy for Lenovo. I had an issue where I was getting this error: Rescue and Recovery can not obtain the enviroment drive letter and would not install! I called and got it escalated to a 1st level tech who had m...

What were the problems with your keyboards and ultrabay?
When I first received the laptop the media bay battery would not fit, the drive was almost impossible to remove, and they shipped me a new battery and an Ultrabay. Problem solved. The keyboard was an issue that I caused. I spilled a small amount of lime juice, (less than a drop) on my backspace key....

It does sound like you have a bad reader if it works in your Treo. I too have a Treo and have used it im my laptop. I have also used my daughter's SD card from her camera and it works fine too. Do you have a warranty on your laptop? I made sure I purchased a 3 year accidental coverage and it has pay...

I have an X60s with a FUJITSU MHV2100BH 100gb drive. I can't hear any kind of noise, vibration, whatsoever. I feel pretty lucky as I have not had any serious problems with this laptop other than minor hardware issues. Once, I had to have the keyboard replaced because something sticky got under the b...

I am running BIOS 1.11 and I have used Excel and then closed it and I am at 9.33 watts right now. I think that everyone needs to state exactly what brightness they are running and what wireless devices they have running. I am just using the Verizon WWAN wireledd right now with Bluetooth and Atheros ...

I am using BIOS version 1.10 and my battery shows 6.93 watts and 9 hours plus until discharge? I haven't really noticed any problems with any of the BIOS versions I have used. Is anyone else using 1.10 and getting good battery life? This is with all wireless turned on and not really doing anything. ...

I work in an IT department and we currently have about 75 laptops, 99% of them are Dells and most of them are have Intel wireless cards. I always thought that Intel or 3Com cards were good and I knew some Cisco cards were good although quite expensive. This is the 1st ThinkPad I have ever owned and ...

At bootup press the blue ThinkVantage button and choose F1 to enter BIOS Setup. Go to "Config", then "Alarm" and in there will be 4 choices: Power Control Beep, Low Battery Beep, Volume Beep, and Password Beep. You can either enable or disable each one. I am sort of glad that I went in there because...

That is a good price. I basically have the same laptop. 170469U 100gig HD, 2 gig of ram, EVDO, Ultrabay, DVD, 2 power adapters, 2 batteries, leather case and 3 year ThinkPad Plus protection for $2623. It looks like they have dropped the price roughly $700. That is a pretty good price. I purchased mi...

Congratulations. In my opinion you have purchased one of the best laptops possible. I bought mine in the last part of June of this year. I bought the X60s, 2 gig of ram, 100 gig HD, WWAN, 8 cell extended battery, UltraBay with battery, DVD, extra AC adapter, IBM leather case, etc; I can't say enough...

I ordered my X60s in June of this year, and in the excitement of getting the order exactly the way I wanted it, the sales person and myself forgot to change the shipping address to my work instead of my home address. I called and was told that after ordering the shipping address could not be changed...
