Windows XP HOME and Dual-core X60s
I ordered a dual-core X60s with Windows XP Home. It's cheaper than XP Pro, which I don't need on this machine. XP Home says it only supports one CPU http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/howtobuy/choosing2.mspx So, am I going to see only one of the dual cores on this machine ? Here's the build, FYI...

Thinkpads that support WWAN are currently (Feb '07) shipping with the Sierra Wireless MC5720 cards. These cards support only EVDO rev 0. I had this problem. I fixed it by opening up the laptop lid and : 1. re-seating the cable that goes to the back of the lcd at the lcd end. 2. The inverter card was loose, and it looks like the screw that holds it to the lid might provide its connection to ground. I tightened it. 3. re-seating the ca...
