Ntri, Please make sure that your card is always detected. You might have the same problem what i have. Card appears on random basis. I have played with bios the whole day and it did not make any difference. Taping out pin 20 did the trick eventually. Let us know if your card stard disappearing. Bes...

Ntri, Check if X201i and X201 have the same bios. You can do that by downloading both and compare files (the ones with FL1 extension) by using some checksuming tool. If they are identical then you can safely go ahead. BIOS moded by Mafet works (almost) flawlessly. Yes, rightly. I flash this bios on...

dyleck, I have been patched BIOS for WWAN cards and now, error 1804 disappeared. Test with my unauthorised 3G Sierra Wireless MC8775 module on X201, passed successfully - after installing drivers, i can connect to 3G network. Problem in Linux Ubuntu with libata 40-wire

Hello all! I use CF-IDE adaptor with CF card SiliconPower 8GB 300x. His support UDMA 6 and fixed ide mode. I use 2 partitions. On sda1 - winXP, on sda2 Ubuntu 8.04. Hi All. Maybe somebody to be interested. Installing minipci wifi to thinkpad X22. Now modem card not actual, i remove old minipci card (with modem lucent ) and install new Intel Wireless 2915ABG card. But in my city i not found wifi antenns and uf.l connectors :( I will have to build antenns from PC...
