I am going to order the Advanced Mini Dock for my T61p (w/ 15.4" WUXGA). As you know the T61p comes with 9-cell battery which is a bit larger (or "longer") than the depth of laptop. I wonder if that will fit to the Dock without the need to removing the battery? Also, any user has try to use the T61p...

Are there any people tried that by your own? I mean fresh install the XP and download drivers for it?

Perhaps you call the Thinkpad support team and see if they have any information about this issue with Windows XP?

I don't find any hot feeling of my right palm that locate above the hard drive when I use my T61p for normal works. But, when I leave the machine alone for a while, it starts loading screen saver and turn off the screen (power management). I discover that the HDD icon of the machine is keep flashing...

I found that the AC adapter of my T61p is quite hot. I don't think it can be classified as "warm". It will not as hot as going to burn my hand but it seems like "too hot" for me.
