Hi,
It is possible for a T420 or X220 motherboard to start without LCD connected?
I am thinking about building a All-In-One PC based on a Thinkpad motherboard, with monitor connected to VGA connector and TV connected to DisplayPort.

I've replaced the display and everything is fine now.

Just to confirm: some poor connection inside the LCD itself, and not between the electronic board and the LCD?

I'm having some green/red horizontal lines at the bottom of display.
What would be the cause?
VGA output is fine on external monitor.
