My T43 came with what I consider an unacceptable screen. I'm calling Lenovo tomorrow to get a return authorization slip and shipping it back. Going to get a Sony S460. Very Sweet compared to the screen on the IBM.

Does it improve the quality of the screen? (viewable angle, uniform contrast/color/brightness)

How is the SXGA when veiwing blacks? Are they washed out? Is the top of the screen more "brilliant" than the bottom?

The screen is acceptable for internet explorer and probably word and excel type programs.

I know this is not a laptop made for watching media or playing games, but those are both reasons why I got it.
