This is a Lenovo battery bought directly from Lenovo.

Power manager is not reading the battery data at all. In the box above the "Battery Maintenance" button, it says "There is an error." In the "Battery Details" section all of the fields are empty (only have a "-" mark in the data field).

I had a never used battery in the box still that I got about 3 years ago. Today I plugged it into my X201 for the first time and I get a "battery error" response from the Power Manager tool. Has anyone seen this before? Could it be a DOA battery?

I've had issues lately with my x230 not going to sleep fully when pressing fn-f4. The moon light on the top cover turns on and the power button is flashing, but the fan is still on and if I press mute, the orange LED turns on. The only way to get out is to hold the power button down and power cycle....

It is indeed the battery. I just placed my Z60m battery into a T60 and had the same problem. For some reason, though I cannot put the T60 battery into the Z60m as the notches seem a little different.

BMM says its holding 50% design capacity.

My Z60m's battery light keeps flashing yellow, but the battery utility indicates 100% charge with 42.17 Wh. When I unplug the AC adapter the computer turns off right away even though the battery should have enough charge to run it for over 90 min. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Figured it out. Something is wrong with my keyboard; it seems the power button is always toggled as on. Any way to fix this without buying a new keyboard?

The key is not stuck in the down position, but is sending a constant signal of being pressed.

I have an X60s and today I tried to set up a partition on my HDD using Partition Magic. It was going through the process and I saw the "Windows is shutting down" screen. My school has the X200T available for a good price. The only problem is that it has the Non-LED screen. How does this screen compare to the LED one? Is it a major difference that should push me away from buying the version available here? The model number is 7450-28U.

After three weeks, I finally got my computer back again from EasyServ. Complete with the right screen this time. Kudos to EasyServ for fixing the problem, but the fact that this happened in the first place is unacceptable. But at least it ended well.

I have a 2.5 year old Z60m and am having some problems with the screen. The bottom half of the screen starts to flicker and sometimes holds the image. If i hit the side or gently twist the screen it sometimes get better, but the problem keeps happening. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
