Trying to downsize and I have a few Thinkpads in unknown working status I would like to pass on.

I have a T40, T41, and a T42. These are all untested. The T42 has a broken hinge. None of the computers have a HDD. There is one CD drive included and 2 batteries (unknown condition).

Are they still available and would you ship it to Europe? On my expense of course.

Apologies for being somewhat non-responsive over the last year. I still have these available and I really would like to pass them onto someone instead of recycling them. I do need to get rid of them though, and possibly some other Thinkpads in my collection but those will come later.

These are still available for FREE + shipping. All 3 weigh about 13-14 lbs altogether and are shipped from 20011 if you want to estimate shipping costs.

I would be very interested and love tinkering these days. I'm at 95687. Currently unemployed for a long time so cannot cover shipping :/

Hi, thanks for your generous offer! Do you believe these ThinkPads are more likely to be close to working, or most likely too broken to be salvaged and hence good for parts?

In the latter case, I'm interested in obtaining the keyboards (only) for a keyboard DIY project.

Not sure. I would think they could probably be salvaged, but I haven't tried using them. I got them for free in the condition they are and haven't done anything with them.

Hey there! I am fairly knew to this forum but have used guides and references from this site since i was in high school running my family t420

I’m located right outside fairfax if there is anyway we could do a coffee meetup or something in that nature? I’m always trying to save old tech from getting thrown into another “Mount Trashmore” lol. i’m not familiar with how this forum works but i will keep double checking the post if this is something you would be interested in.

Hi - Sorry, been busy the last couple weeks.

Laptops are still available. Weight is around 14 lbs and they are shipping from 20011 if you want to estimate shipping costs. My guess is $30-50, depending on where in the country you are.
