I'm finally letting go of my X220. These are the details:

- Whitelist removal
- Unlocked AES-NI on "no-encryption" machines
- Unlocked hidden advanced menu
- Unlocked memory speed (supports DDR3 1600 and 1866)
- Disabled package c-state lock at MSR 0xE2 (for Hackintosh)
- Re-signed with custom key to get rid of 5 beeps on boot

(Be careful with advanced menu. Changing some options may render your laptop unbootable! Also, more memory speed means more heat, 1866 MHz memory speed may increase your laptop temperature up to 5°C.)

Windows 10 Pro is installed. The laptop is fully functional and in very good cosmetic condition. A 90W AC adapter is included along with a good condition 44+ battery (no guarantee as to capacity or life).

What a cool little machine. One of my favorite Thinkpads. Mine is very similar with the same CPU, IPS screen and even the same primary hard drive. I didn't bother with the custom BIOS, though.

Note to a potential buyer, although you didn't mention it - this Core i7 X220 has USB 3.0 support, with one port on the machine, and passthrough to the USB 3.0 Mini-Docks (not to the Ultrabase, since that one doesn't have a USB 3.0 option).

Thanks @dr_st! I should have mentioned the USB 3.0 feature of the i7 model. This configuration includes one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports (one powered). It also includes a 4-in-1 reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC), and an ExpressCard/34, ExpressCard/54 slot.

Additionally, I should mention that I'm the original owner and also that the Ultrabase 3 includes the slim DVD-ROM drive.

Any interest before I list this on a well-known auction site?
