Sounds good, what price are you looking for?

Modded R601?
P9700, 8Gigs of RAM, mSATA drive, AFFS LED UXGA, ATI 3470HD on the board - literally a R400, everything inside R61 4:3 chassis. May come with palmrest without touchpad if need be.
PM me for details if interested ^^

That sounds really sweet, although I'm not sure that is going to be in my budget. I am a new member and can't send PMs, can you send me one?

Hey I looked at your PM, that is a really fantastic machine. Unfortunately I can't really justify the price, I'm mainly looking for a 4:3 device for a novelty and am not looking to spend serious laptop kind of money anything that I can't run VMs on.
Still, it's really cool that people do builds like this. If I was a more serious collector I'd jump on it.

I have a pair of Dell Latitude D520 and HP Compaq nc6320, both competitors of 15" 4:3 R60, both with Core 2 duo T7400 3.25GB usable RAM and nice Super XGA+ screens (TN but still has very wide viewing angles), and both have working batteries.
I also have two X61s still on hand, one with an assortment of issues assembled from essentially spare parts, the other is fully working but is likely out of your budget.
PM if you're interested still, expect a fair bit less money than an R60 with a similar T7400 + SXGA+ config.
Or if you're still too new to be able to send PM's, let us know here

Still looking to sell this or are you no longer interested?

I still have a T60 in good condition I've been looking to get rid of, if you're interested. Intel T2500, ATI X1300, 4gb of RAM (of which only 3gb are actually usable), 80GB HDD, 14" standard XGA.

If you change your mind about processors and will settle a Pentium 4, I have a T30.

I’m in the too new here to PM boat, but I’ve been hunting a good x60/1s for a few months now! If you’re still looking to sell either, can I ask for more info about them?

Alright, then I guess I will list down what I have with these then (all 3 have Lenovo badges and Core 2 duo L7500's):
X61s #1:
FSB Modded Core 2 duo L7500 running at 1066Mhz FSB
8GB of DDR2 RAM
128GB SSD
Dell Wifi card facilitating the FSB mod
Stock XGA screen, not very bright but works perfectly well
Keyboard in good condition (NMB)
My specialty of rebuilt 8 cell 22++ Lenovo original battery with EVE INR18650-35V 3500mah cells. Expect more than the design capacity of 75Wh with this!
Overall in good cosmetics condition, 100% fully operational.
Tentatively Canadian $200 + shipping. Prices negotiable when you got the privileges to PM.
X61s #2:
L7500 currently running stock speed (but can FSB mod if you wish)
4GB of DDR2 RAM
160GB HDD with T/X6x era Windows XP original install
Intel 4965AG card currently
4 cell aftermarket pack rebuilt with decent quality Lishen cells, currently holding 27Wh of charge.
Defects:
XGA screen has a line in it; Antennae are kinda torn at the hinges; Lid sensor on the LCD cable is broken; only Wifi and Bluetooth status LEDs light up for whatever reason; two small fractures on the lid magnesium cover; keyboard (NMB) has more wear but works fine;
This has always been my "work" laptop for the work of running BE2Works and various other battery BMS utilities. Lightweight and I don't feel bad about putting more abuse on it given its condition.
No guarantees on full functionality. Tentatively Canadian $80 + shipping
I also have an X61T (also L7500) and an X201T (i5-560M) that is also fully working, but haven't serviced it or laid my hands on it much yet.

Hello! I am new member so I'm not too sure how this works. I'm looking for a new (well new to me I know "new" doesn't exist anymore) T60 chassis and if yours is in good condition I wouldn't mind paying for your machine. Is there a way for me to view photos of your T60? Of course I can't promise I'll buy yours but if you don't mind me taking a look I'd be super grateful
