I am looking to purchase an extra adapter for my T42 that is coming in, would anyone happen to have an extra?

They're all over ebay. Just search for "thinkpad ac adapter". The 72watt variant will work fine with your T42.

Even the "Dogbone" adapters i see all over the place?
