Widescreen ThinkPad in our future?

I love the several ThinkPads I've had in the past but am chomping at the bit for a widescreen one like other manufacturers already have on the market.

Anybody have any knowledge of anything coming down the pipe? I'm really wanting one badly.

I hope they will never ever do that!
Why would a widescreen be better? movies?

Mostly for me, it's my software development environment (Visual Studio .NET) wherein I have lots of tool windows down the sides. A wide screen would open up my cramped space in the middle.

And sure, for movies, whatever.
