I have a Thinkpad I series 1300. I have smartstep and when not plugged in the processor slows from 650 t0 about 450.
I have noticed that my battery life has extended, but it still isn't givingg me the life I would like.
My question is Would installing Battery maximiser along with smart step help?
I'm not even sure if battery maximiser supports the I series. or if it is even comparable to smartstep as far as extending battery life goes on this machine.
Should I : Leave smart step?
Delete smartstep and install battery maximiser?
Install battery maximiser aswell as leaving smartstep? ( would there be any issues with battery maximiser adjusting cpu speed while smartstep is in auto?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
James.
