That Novena has been around for a while, and is already starting to get outdated, such as having only USB2.0 ports.

If looking for anything else than TP, I'd hit a HP 8740w w/ i7 board and Dreamcolor 16:10 screen.

The pros are 4 RAM slots, best screen ever seen in this ratio, great build quality, swappable GPU w/ AMD Firepro 7820 as a best cost-to-performance option and general performance.
The cons are poor trackpoint (or whatever HP states it is), one HDD slot only, poor thermal design, poor battery life and CPU upgradable to QX940 at max i7-2.0GHz AFAIR.

However, these are excellent units. Was happy to own one some time ago, and if my T601f turns too slow for everyday work 8740w w/dreamcolor is my only option.
