Is this palmrest a genuine Lenovo part?
Is this palmrest a genuine Lenovo part?
Hi, I want to replace the palmrest on my x230 to fit the x220 keyboard. Today, I found this palmrest, but I'm not sure if it's genuine. Could you take a look and tell me what you think? https://imgur.com/a/6rI6pBG
Thanks in advance!

Looks OEM to me. Not sure why it wouldn't look that way to you.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

Also, that's what I get after entering the part number in Lenovo part lookup: https://m.imgur.com/2ngq8pgThinkpad4by3 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 5:37 pmLooks OEM to me. Not sure why it wouldn't look that way to you.

Well I would have my concerns as well. It looks... different. If the plastic feels same as your current one, I wouldn't care much.
