X240/50/60 and T440/50/60 differences

I have some people asking me about getting laptops and refurbishing them and I've been studying all the different models but what are the differences really besides CPU generation and ram type? Why would one go for one vs the other? I want to offer a good laptop that will last at least 2 more years minimum... What are your thoughts? Suggestions?

Biggest difference is maximum RAM in:
X240/s: 1x8GB
X250/s: 1x16GB
X260/s: 1x32GB
T440/s: 4-soldered+8=12GB
T440p: 2x8=16GB
T450: 2x16=32GB
T450s: 4-soldered+16=20GB
T460: 2x16=32GB
T460s: 4/8-soldered+16=20/24GB
T460p: 2x16=32GB
