Might be an interesting read for those who are interested in technologies we'll be seeing in the next generation (probably T5x) of ThinkPads.
The Intel 915PM and GM chipsets (Alviso) will incorporate PCIe. Accordingly, graphics and wireless solutions will be PCIe as well. The end user may not notice very much, but it seems that PCIe will allow for simpler and more compact system board designs, which will allow for smaller and more rugged systems.
