Hi-
I will be buying a laptop (looking at the T42p) before school starts in august. I was wondering if there will be any performance upgrades to the Dothan before then and if so, what? I have seen some tenative roadmaps of the dothan but am just wondering what those actually mean and how they will affect performance. Thanks for all your help and I am sorry for this basic question.

As far as I know there will be no major updates to Dothan until Q4 of this year, when Dothan gets a bump to a 533 MHz FSB along with the support of the Alviso chipset.
