Scroll wheel does not work in all programs

Scrolling via both the touchpad and the third button with the nipple doesn't work in all my programs. Google Desktop 2 and JGrasp are two programs that come to mind, and there are many others. Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution to it?

I got the same problem in Opera...
Someone know how to fix?

As far as Opera is concerned, if you have the TouchPad, you need the UltraNav driver version 7.5.17.17 or later {there is a version 7.5.17.18} for scrolling to work. If you have a TrackPoint only system, I think you are out of luck.

I have a T42 with both the TouchPad and TrackPoint. I have the TouchPad disabled and I am using the latest UltraNav driver. Scrolling works fine in Opera with the TrackPoint.

Well my driver is the latest 7.5.17.18. I always keep my system up to date with the software installer program that came with the thinkpad. Is there someway I can report a bug to lenovo/IBM?

Well, I am using the latest UltraNav driver 7.5.17.18 and Opera version 8.5 - scrolling works fine in Opera for me. I doubt if you have a hardware problem if scrolling works in other programs.

Scrolling works fine in Opera for me now.

Maybe i should check the update section at ibm before asking questions...
