tp 390x

#1 Post by tony6264 » Sun May 08, 2005 4:42 pm

On my 390x there is a panel to cover the modem card...in that under that same panel is a small battery, like a watch battery....I assume this is the cmos battery. Would it hurt to try to pull that battery out for a few seconds to try to reset my system, hoping to fix my problem with shutdown?

It won't cause any damage, but it won't fix the shutdown problem.
