Just want you guys know that the Swiffer Duster is awesome for keeping your thinkpad clean. It works great for dusting off the LCD. 80% of the smudge marks on my screen comes from me trying to clean dust off with my fingers. It also works on the keyboard and the case. If you open up your thinkpad and find it dusty, just gently rub the duster across it. THen it's as shiny as new.
I also use them for my Audio equipment.
20Pk of them cost ~$10. I keep one in my laptop bag all the time.
Swiffer Duster + Clorox disinfecting Wipe = Complete Thinkpad cleaning package.
BTW, I always "swiffer" my TP before "cloroxing" it:)

A typical feather duster is also pretty good for the job.
For the LCD, if you do get smudges, dust the screen off then use a fine rag damp with tap water. Use a dry rag (carefully) to get dry the screen immediatley after. Moist towelettes can also be sufficient but they are more likely to leave streak marks, though usually, they're not that noticable when the screen is on.
