X230T / X220T digitizer glass separation and cutting?

Hey all,

I have 2 questions:

- For Thinkpad X220T / X230T, I want to separate the digitizer glass from the plastic bezel, without breaking the digitizer. Here is a photo and a little video to describe better:

I was wondering if anyone has done it and if so, any recommendations etc.

- Also, I want to make the glass a bit smaller up top. How difficult is it to cut the top part of the glass (where there is no digitizer) using a glass-cutter?

I am post this in general sub-forum as there may be other tablets/laptops that people have done similar thing, and if so, I'd like to hear your tips. Thank you!
