Can be T61 as well, I just love the IBM aesthetic and build I posted in marketplace a minute ago, don't know how I missed it. I found one on ebay but it's way above my budget ($1299 wow!)

Hi Bionicman, I can't use dms yet new to the forum... so I'll just reply to you here then: thank you so much for your message and just WOW! It's definitely the most well preserved model I have ever seen, I would even dare to say it's in mint condition considering its age. I do take very good care of all my devices, some are 10+ yo and still running as good as new, no scratches anywhere either so it will go to go hands if that is of concern. Been restoring laptops for years, now I'm not an IT expert but I do know a thing or two... especially when it comes to TLC if you can, send me some screenshots with specs, please, and maybe an email so that I can reply to you and work this out.I would like to introduce myself properly and take a closer look at what you're offering many thanks, looking forward to your reply

Best way to get a T601, or a hybrid t60/t61 is swapping a standard screen t61 motherboard and a few other pieces into your T60 model. The key part needed is the t61 board which supply is very low but there are still a few available new in box. $139 plus shipping but less than a case of them remains at this time.
