Hi

Knows anyone if IBM Thinkpad R40 2681-FJG supports Bluetooth by default?

P4-M 2GHz, 256MB RAM, 30GB HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 16MB ATI Radeon 7500, 24x10x24x/8x CDRW/DVD, Wireless upgradeable, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip(TCPA), Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

That's the default spec from the lookup site. So it does not look like the dual purpose modem/bt CDC module is installed. Unless one of the mavens knows better.

I'm reasonably certain that the answer is "no". These were entry-level machines at the time and I'm 99% sure that BT antenna is not there to allow for a future upgrade.
