Hard Drive Firmware update problem

I put a new IBM Hitachi HGST548080M9AT0 into my T43p, during post I got BIOS warning 2010 about an older HDD firmware. I tried updating firmware it didn't updated the firmware.

Any suggestions on how to get around this older firmware, the disk is brand new , march 05 packed and has a A53A firmware version.
