Screw hole cap glue?

I did some work on my T41 so I had to remove the caps that cover some of the screw holes. I'm wondering what is used to glue them back on; I'm thinking some non-drying glue. Checking Amazon produced fake eyelash glue?? Anyone had and experience with this or should I just buy a new set with the adhesive on the back?

Elmer's Rubber Cement is my favorite, been using it forever and a day.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!
