Hello! This is my first post. I've been a ThinkPad fan since I was a teenager, my first laptop was a 1994 era black and white ThinkPad (don't remember the model) that ran OS/2. Since then I've had a T, X and currently an Anniversary 25. One thing I remember about the old ThinkPad was the bios with the flapping duck. Does anyone know what the last line was that included that BIOS?

Welcome from a bit to the northwest.
I know my 600 has that GUI style BIOS as do all my old 7xx and 3xx systems from the mid-late 90s. So my guess is once they introduced the T/X series lines in the early 2000s, they switched to a more traditional BIOS. I'm sure someone here will have more (or corrected) info...

My 760 and 600 and 600X all have that style BIOS. My T21 & later do not.

Pretty sure the last ones to include are the 600X and the 770Z. The 390 series, i series and 240 series do not, nor do anything after including all of the series that started with a letter (post 2000 lineup restructuring)
