Where to find good quality trackpoints?

I would like to get some new trackpoint caps to replace some heavily worn ones I have on some machines. There are some sellers on eBay and shops which sell them but I'm not sure they are as good as the original ones. I'm interested in standard soft dome, soft ring and classic dome trackpoints (no low profile and newer caps). I'm located in Europe, if you know about some sellers which can ship there let me know.

The ones I bought off eBay work ok, but when compared to genuine ones, they are definitely not the same quality. Different texture and material. I would not have noticed it though, just by using them, but I have a few more machines with original trackpoint caps, and next to each other the difference becomes obvious. So I have subscribed to this thread, hoping someone could point to a source, that sells genuine caps, which are also not too expensive (we are talking about a tiny piece of rubber after all).

I haven't had any issues with ones I bought on ebay but that was a while ago. And yes, I do not like the sunken "low profile" ones either.

This seller has been posted about here by someone else a long time ago.

eBay seller 395six7 has excellent Trackpoint caps.

I bought a bunch of full height soft domes. Rubber is grippy, they wear well, and look like they were made on OEM molds (letter underneath, ejector marks on the bottom edge, crisp details). They even smell right - the correct rubber compound has a distinct odour.

I've been using a ThinkPad X1 Gen 9 as my main Windows machine for the past six weeks - the first time I've been away from a desktop keyboard for a long time. The 3mm Trackpoint cap is getting a bit uncomfortable, and I'd be grateful for suggestions for alternatives. The eBay seller mentioned in this thread isn't offering anything, and the etsy seller seems to be out of stock on the 3mm versions. Any suggestions will be welcome.

I always prefer the soft rim cap, but the X1 is so slim, I'm not sure that'll work.

The etsy seller now tells me that he'll have the red 3mm caps back in stock next week. And I think you're right about the soft rim not fitting. The etsy seller's web site has a compatibility table.
