T480 also tehnically have 2 NVMe slot, one in dedicated carrier, one is in WWAN slot, but there's a catch, you can only use specific SSD on this slot, first because the limited M.2 2242 size, second is the M.2 B key, and the third (but not big of a problem) is the limited PCIe 3.0 x2 bandwidth. it's very hard to find NVMe drive with such keying and size combination. some drive that supported are Toshiba RC100/300/BG3, and Kingspec or other chinese rebrand of it. all the drive mentioned is already validated by me running T480 with latest BIOS firmware and work prefectly.axur-delmeria wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 12:03 amHere's a few that I know:
P52: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PD ... 2_Spec.PDF
P53: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PD ... 3_Spec.PDF
P16 Gen 1: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PD ... 1_Spec.pdf
That puts the T480s in the same boat then.DLinks1292 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 2:57 am
