Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 - better than average
I replaced my older Standard Wireless Mouse (optical, black and silver) with a "latest, greatest" mouse ... whch actually looks pretty good next to my TP. It has a very sleek, jet black look that complements the conventional TP look.

A colleague of mine uses the MS Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, and loves it. I actually rather like the shape of their BT mouse.
I think kensington makes a notebook BT mouse which functions with TP bluetooth internal CDCs. I'm disappointed that there aren't more BT peripherals out there, with or without their own dongles. But that's another rant.
BTW, I stumbled on a cute dividend last night. My MS Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000, which has an underneath-stowed USB transceiver, ... will operate with the MS Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 desktop transceiver. And vice versa. Y'all can think that through and see the immediate benefit of THAT.
I used to love Logitech. I have the original V2 of their Wireless Mouse (or was it V1? the heart-shaped one). Still good. Still works. Still comfy. But their latest ... boy, the places they stick buttons ... one has buttons via a pivoting collar around the scroll wheel ... who thought THAT one up? Yeesh.
I guess I'm an "old fart," graduate of the "simpler is better" school.

Why is my P1 Gen 7 so much better on battery? Cool, quiet, fast — but not on AC.
