Internet dropping out

#1 Post by john 86 » Tue May 30, 2006 4:04 am

Hoping somebody can help
I'm having trouble with the Internet access on my T60p. After about an hour access drops out. The wireless connection is still made, but I cannot access the Internet either through Firefox or Internet explorer. Disconnecting the wireless network and reconnecting or restarting the computer usually restores the access.
It seems to occur at the almost exactly an hour. My access is normal and uninterrupted with my T42
I am using IBM access connections and D-Link wireless router.
Thanks John

You can try setting up a profile where you have your IP address entered manually. Sometimes that can help. That way your laptop doesn't have to get the IP address from the router.
