Help erasing R&R on local hard drive...

I ignorantly backed up my computer onto my local hard drive and it has taken up nearly 30GB on a 100GB HD. I think I read that it backs it up to a hidden partition or something, but I'm not sure how to get to this and what to do.

How do I clear this space without causing problems?

I believe you can delete backups with the Rescue and Recovery program, but if not, see the following.
