question IBM_Service Partition

Is it possible to copy the IBM_Service Partition to a new hard drive?
T43 / 2668-6CU - 14" XGA - 80BG drive + 160GB in Ultra Bay - 1.5GB RAM - DVD-RW

I've never tried it but I'd assume somthing like Acronis would managed that

Most cloning software can accomplish this. Acronis, Ghost, and Apricorn for sure.
