is the extended warranty added to the 3 years?

i ordered my t60p on 2/28 (15", 2gigs ram, verizon card, v5200). along with that i got the "LENOVO THINKPLUS EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT - 4 YEARS". i thought this meant i was getting a 4 year warranty but now i'm not so sure. is this in addition to 3 years it originally has? that doesn't seem right but i really have no idea

It's a one-year extension to the default three-year warranty. Note how there's no Extended - 1 Year or Extended - 2 Year plans available, because that's less than the 3 years you begin with.
