Blu ray player on T61?

Hello,
Did Lenovo ever produce a blu ray player that fits into the ultra bay of T60/T61/T430s and other models which have the exact same ultra bays as the ones i mentioned?

To be clear, the T4xx series and the T6x series have totally different ultrabay modules. The former uses slimline SATA as the interface and the latter uses a propietrary ThinkPad connector based off IDE. SATA based bluray laptop drives are definitely available if you look hard enough but unfortunately maybe not the latter.

thanks for the clarification, i did not know this, i just knew the batteries that could be used in the T4xxs could also be used on the T61/T60, but had no idea about the other connectors

There was never an "Ultrabay Slim" form factor and interface BRD drive that I know. There was an Ultrabay Enhanced BRD drive but it only fits the Advanced dock and the G / R / Z 40-60 series. These have the taller 123.5mm high bay. And it is Very expensive.

There are BRD drives for the Serial Ultrabay Slim and Serial Ultrabay Enhanced, but these do not fit the older double digit letter series systems.
