HI all,

My 14 year old T60p 14 inch screen laptop fan died, I ordered one from China installed it and it makes a loud whining sound. The seller gave me a refund, and I ordered an OEM one. Is it safe to use this in the meantime? I don't want anything to happen to my baby. I was going to post a YouTube video of it, however I can't seem to post a link.

Welcome to the forum!

If the fan is just noisy, but spinning well and actually pushing hot air out of the vents, it may be OK to use. Personally, I prefer not to run machine with a problematic fan.
