Whenever I try to backup my hard drive, I get a message saying that there isn't enough room in C:/RRbackup. The hard drive is a 100 GB drive that I installed myself. Out of around 88 GB of total available space (the rest is taken up by the recovery software I think) there's about 18 GB of free space, meaning that I've used around 60 GB.
How much room is a backup supposed to take? It's not supposed to be the same size as all the stuff on the hard drive, is it?
Thanks in advance.

Backup help
If you have a spare drive you could either make an image of or clone your existing drive with the many drive imaging software products that are currently available. Acronis True Image is my current favorite.
If you don't have a spare drive they are available at historically low prices now. I also see some 250gb 5400 rpm drives are now available. Some very large capacities for notebook drives. Some are waiting for the 200gb 7200 rpm drive from Hitachi.
