Screen goes off

Sometimes after boot up the system seems to be running fine then the screen goes off and I can't get it to come back on unless I do a re-boot.
Any one else have this problem?
I am running Vista on a T60

can you close the lid to put it asleep, then open it and regain video?

also, try reinstalling the video driver.
