X60 Hard Drive: Ultra DMA 2 or Ultra DMA 5?

#1 Post by ibear » Wed Jan 31, 2007 12:54 pm

I just discovered that the hard drive in my X60 is running under Ultra DMA 2. In the Hitachi Fitness Test, the driver information shows

Ultra DMA:
Highest mode: 5
Active mode: 2

Is there anything wrong?

The X60 has a SATA harddisk. With SATA interfaces there exists no DMA setting at all. Relax, the hitachi tool is telling nonsense.
