Dears
My x60s is still too noisy - I would like to stop access to harddrive within 30 sec. - is there any programm to do that? Energy management permits only 3min.
Thanks for help

Which brand of hard drive do you have?
Yes. You can use Notebook Hardware Control to enable HDD spin down in HDD Advanced Power Management. HDD will stop spinning after idle for around 30 seconds, regardless of the Windows setting.

Hitachi and Fujitsu HDD utilities (DOS) can do that same but NHC is easier in Windows.
