50 hz refresh rate
50 hz refresh rate
What's with the 50 hz refresh rate?
I thought 60 was the standard. I am running an x60s on WinXPP, fresh install w/ lenovo drivers. Is it supposed to be 50hz (to save batt?), or is something wrong?
Thanks

Hmmm. If that's the case, wouldn't our European friends have an issue with the 60 Hz LCDs? I will say that I have not noticed any issues watching European TV captures on my 60 Hz panel, although I haven't actually been looking for problems.rkuo wrote:Actually, if you play back 60fps content, like television shows recorded in MPEG-2, the frame drops are noticeable.
NTSC frame rate is 30 Hz, PAL is 25 Hz.
