Few Questions on warranty issues

Hi,

If i take out my hd and put a new one in will that void warranty? Am i supposed to go to a lenovo dealer to get new mini pci cards fitted in?

btw off topic can the my notebook sata hard disk be plugged into my desktop ? does it have the same type of connectors??

No. It will not and you can confirm about this by calling up lenovo/ibm 1800-3172-888.

If you want to plug your notebook\'s SATA HDD to your desktop, i suggest you go and buy the SATA external drive (Adapter) and use it externally. Watch out for the PATA and SATA adapter.

~~You can get the SATA external adapter (connector) from Funan DigiLife Mall... a shop by the name of Fuwell (don\'t know the full name) at $20 and up...~~ Can try your luck out at the IT Show 2007 held in Suntec city level 3 & 4 starting from today to 13 march 2007. Things will be cheaper down there. Or you can wait till 31 May 2007 for PC show 2007~~
