ultrabay devices - cd rw/dvd for x60/s

If I add an ultrabay device i.e. the cdrw/dvd rom. to the computer, is that internal? Would I add weight to the notebook? Or, should I just get an external ThinkPlus USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo II Drive? thanks!

No, the drive would not be internal. You would need to get the X6 base.
