Disable the Wireless Switch Notification Window
Is there anyway to disable that screen that pops up when you switch the wireless switch on/off?
I hate things that tell me the obvious. "Hello, you have just pressed the wireless toggle switch. Have a nice day."

Are you hiding the file extension tag? Like when you look at a file do you see xxxx.doc xxxxx.jpg xxxxx.exe or do you just see names?mfratt wrote:I renamed it to pmev2_1.exe_backup. The problem is, even after returning it to the original name, it still didnt work.kaspar wrote:what exactly did you do? delete the file or rename it? i simply renamed it and the Fn+F5 window still works.
(This doesn't apply to shortcuts or folders)
If you don't see the file extension then you can't change it to something that it won't recognize or change it back to something it will recognize unless you know what these do.
Go to (in any open folder window) tools>folder options>view>UNcheck "hide file extensions for known file types"
apply and then find that file and see if it says exactly
pmev2_1.exe
or if you've named it (easily by accident)
pmev2_1.exe.exe
this can happen if you aren't showing the extensions. Because now the executable's name is
"pmev2_1.exe"
instead of
"pmev2_1"
which is what it's looking for. So change it to (showing extensions) pmev2_1.exe and you're in business unless you've nuked something else.
