Strange Problems with mine...

#1 Post by montereypark » Fri Dec 15, 2006 4:38 am

Hey so I have a Thinkpad x60 for a little while now, and for some reason mozilla firefox just won't work connect to the internet (while IE works perfectly fine). I've tried all the obvious things but I'm thinking there might be some kind of pre-installed security thing that prevents it from connecting? AIM won't work either, and neither does AIM express (says there's a popup thing going on but I can't locate it), so any suggestions on what I can do?

Try turning off your software firewall (such as ZoneAlarm) and see if it will connect then. If so, then your software firewall configuration needs changing - either that or run a different software firewall.
