Virus in driver repository?
I'm posting this here because it doesn't seem to fit anywhere else.
I downloaded a T30 power management driver from the driver repository here and Windows Defender flagged it as containing CandyOpen. I never executed the driver and deleted the file, but Windows Defender still showed that the file was in the recycle bin and would not remove it. This is on a Windows 10 machine. Since then I've been running scan after scan with various tools and everything looks good, so I'm thinking that I was seeing a false positive but it's still worrisome.
This is the driver that cause the problem for me. Somebody might want to look into this situation.

It's the same file from Lenovo. download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/grku10ww.exe Virustotal comes back with 11/69 hits. I'd lean to it being a false positive.

If you need Power Management Driver for Windows 98 SE/Me/2000/XP (ACPI) for a T30, get these:

Re: Virus in driver repository?
Thanks RBS. I downloaded the driver and will try it on Monday. I have an unknown device error message for ACPI\IBM0068\5&2890d699&0. Hopefully the driver that you recommended will solve that problem.
